The courtyard lamp is mainly composed of five components, which are:

I.The light source

Light source is an important part of all lighting products. According to different illumination requirements, different brands and types of light source can be selected. The commonly used light source includes incandescent lamp, energy-saving lamp, fluorescent lamp, sodium lamp, metal halide lamp, ceramic metal halide lamp and new LED light source. Characteristics of each light source:

1. The incandescent light bulb

Incandescence refers to the visible photoelectric radiation produced by heated atoms. Incandescent lamp USES the principle of incandescence, which allows electric current to pass through the tungsten wire in the vacuum, and causes the tungsten wire to heat up and emit visible light after incandescence. The color temperature of an ordinary incandescent lamp is 2800K, which is warm compared with the color of natural light. Advantages and disadvantages of incandescent lamp: low cost, easy to use and install. Suitable for frequent opening, point out the effect of the lamp performance and life is very low.

Advantages and disadvantages of incandescent lamp:

Short life, low luminous efficiency. The visible light emitted by incandescent lamps generally accounts for less than 10% of electric energy, most of which is converted into infrared radiation, generating a lot of heat. In addition, the ultraviolet radiation that incandescent lamp gives out is higher also, can cause illuminate article to fade.

2. Fluorescent and energy-saving lamps

Fluorescent lamp, energy-saving lamp is a kind of low-pressure mercury vapor arc discharge lamp, usually long tube, each end has an electrode. The lamp contains low pressure mercury vapor and a small amount of inert gas. Fluorescent lamps are divided into straight fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps. According to the starting mode, straight tube fluorescent lamp can be divided into preheating start, fast start and instantaneous start, and according to the lamp tube, it can be divided into T12, T8 and T5. Compact fluorescent lamps were developed to replace incandescent lamps, which consume a lot of electricity. A typical incandescent bulb has a life span of 1,000 hours, while a typical compact fluorescent bulb has a life span of 8,000 to 10,000 hours.

Advantages and disadvantages of fluorescent lamp and energy-saving lamp:

The main advantage of fluorescent lamps is their high luminous efficiency. A typical fluorescent lamp emits about 28 percent of the electricity input in visible light. The geometry of the tube, filling gas and pressure, phosphor coating, fabrication process and ambient temperature and power frequency all affect the luminous efficiency of the fluorescent lamp. The color of the light emitted by a fluorescent lamp is largely determined by the phosphors applied to the inside surface of the tube. The color temperature of different fluorescent lamps varies widely from 2900K to 10000K. According to the color, it can be roughly divided into warm white (WW), white (W), cold white (CW) and daylight (D). In general, warm white (WW), white (W) and daylight (D) fluorescent lamps have average color rendering. Cold white (CW), soft white and advanced warm white (WWX) fluorescent lamps can provide good color rendering. Advanced cold white (CWX) fluorescent lamps can have excellent color rendering. The light that fluorescent lamp gives out is more dispersive, not easy focus, because this is used extensively more downy illume, resemble, shoot floodlight illume, working illume, downy key illume.

3. Sodium lamp

Also known as high pressure sodium lamp is a discharge lamp by sodium vapor discharge. High luminous efficiency, long life, good adaptability to the environment, all kinds of temperature conditions can work normally.

Advantages and disadvantages of sodium lamp:

Sodium lamp specification and size large; Light chromatic aberration, is an uncomfortable yellow and white cold light; The color display performance is poor, the color display index of the ordinary high pressure sodium lamp is only 23. Therefore, the ordinary high pressure sodium lamp is mostly used for road lighting and other requirements for luminous efficiency and life, while the light color and color display performance requirements are not high fields. There is also a class of improved high color display high pressure sodium lamp, with warm white light color, color index can reach more than 80% of high color display. This kind of lamp can be used in the display lighting field, energy saving effect is obvious.

II.Lamps and lanterns

More than 80% reflectors, light transmittance of more than 90% of the light shade, high IP class to prevent mosquitoes and rain penetration, but also a reasonable distribution of light shade and internal structure to prevent glare from affecting the safety of pedestrians and vehicles. IV.basis

Flange is an important component for the installation of lamp posts and ground in the courtyard. Installation steps:
