According to the data, different wavelengths of light have different effects on plant photosynthesis. The wavelength of light needed by plant photosynthesis is about 400 ~ 720nm. Light from 400 to 520nm (blue) and 610 to 720nm (red) contribute the most to photosynthesis. From 520 to 610nm (green) of light, the rate of absorption by plant pigments is very low.

Visually, the red and blue combination of plant lights appears pink.
White LED lamps, most commonly with a blue core, excite yellow phosphors and thus compound to produce a visual white light effect. In terms of energy distribution, there are two peaks in the blue region of 445nm and the yellow-green region of 550nm. However, the red light required by plants, ranging from 610 nm to 720nm, is very scarce. This explains why plants do not grow well under white leds.
The red and blue color spectrum ratio of plant lamp is generally in 5:1 ~ 10:1 is appropriate, usually can choose the ratio of 7 ~ 8:1. Of course, it is best to adjust the ratio of red and blue light according to the growth cycle of plants.
When using LED plant light supplement lamp to supplement the light of plants, the power is generally lower than 50wLED plant light supplement lamp.
